The Cinema and Culture Club of Alexandria “KINIMATODRASIS” was founded in 2018 with the aim of being a cell of culture and cooperation in the wider area of ​​the Municipality of Alexandria. It is the organizer of the International Short Film Festival of Alexandria, while the adult theater group THEROS and the Reading Club of Alexandria operate as part of the association.

The Alexandria Short Film Festival was founded in 2015 by a group of people with the aim to offer to the public quality films that would simultaneously highlight contemporary social issues.

The association’s activities include workshops, film screenings, screenings for schools in collaboration with Festivals aimed at children, theatrical events, while from 2019 the Alexandria festival program is travelling to cities in Greece and abroad.

Our goal is to highlight contemporary art forms, spread volunteerism and raise awareness to the local community through social actions of the association.
