vasilis kehagias

Vassilis Kehagias was born in Thessaloniki in 1962.

He studied dentistry, which he practices in the same city and has been a member of the Greek Film Critics Association since 1984. For the last five years he has been elected its President. He practiced film criticism in all media (magazines, newspapers, radio and television) and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Thessaloniki Film Festival from 1987 to 1998.

Between 2005 and 2010 he was Director of the Thessaloniki Film Museum, which he renovated.

dionysia Arvanitou

Dionysia Arvanitou is a consultant for producers and audio-visual projects at the Film Office of the Region of Central Macedonia.

Her 15 year experience in the field of audio-visual projects is summarized in the production execution, administrative support as a scientific and technical consultant of projects and coordinator of working groups and projects as a project manager.

She studied at AUTH Film Department and holds an M.A. of Cinema Studies (AUTH).

She worked as coordinator of the educational film program PAME SINEMA for Northern Greece and provided scientific support and technical implementation of film seminars and films for Primary and Secondary Education.

ANNA ZAPTSI

She is a Professor of Social Psychology and Media at the University of Seville and the EUSA University Centre (Seville, Spain). She holds a PhD from the University of Seville (Spain). She also holds a graduate degree in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as postgraduate degrees in School Psychology (University of Seville) and International Development Cooperation (Pablo de Olavide University). She is also specialized in Family Systemic Psychotherapy. She has published articles in international journals and has authored chapters and conference proceedings. 
 
Her research interests include Psychology, Gender and Feminist Studies, Diversity and Intersectionality, and Film and Television Studies. She has participated in several funded research projects on the empowerment of women, the living and working conditions of migrant women in different countries in Europe, and the equality and human rights of LGBTQIA+ people in Ibero-American countries.
 
She is a reviewer of articles in international scientific journals. In 2021, she was awarded the first prize for the best scientific publication in the field of psychology at the University of Seville (Spain).
 
She has led educational seminars and conferences, and moderated discussions at film festivals on a range of topics, including gender, psychology, mental health, communication and media studies, and social feminist movements such as #MeToo and Time’sUp. She currently serves as moderator for several film forums at educational institutions and nonprofit organizations. She has worked and coordinated psychosocial intervention, integration, and social inclusion programs for women, people over 65, and immigrant women.

I am a founding member of the Union of Greek Cinematographers (GSC) and for the last three years I have had the honor of being President.

* I wanted to be a sailor, I took medical exams, I studied economics, I became a Cinematographer and I don’t regret it at all.

romanna lobach

Romanna Lobach was already acting in films at 11 years old and by 2013 she had graduated from Athens Conservatoire Drama School with a B.A. in acting. She has performed in over 25 feature films and shorts that have premiered in festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Rotterdam, and New York, among others, winning awards at festivals in Greece and abroad for some of her most recent work; Olla (Ariane Labed, 2019), I don’t want to forget anything (Vaggelio Soumeli 2021) and March 4 (Dimitris Nakos, 2015).

Her work at the McCann advertising agency as a copywriter and also working for various production companies in a multitude of different posts, equipped her with invaluable experience and training. In 2018, she founded AKRAN Creative Company, a boutique production house where as a producer and creative director she’s developing multiple projects with emerging directors of bold and unique voice.

The past two years, she attended European Short Pitch, Torino Short Film Market, Brussels Co-Production Forum and Crossroads Co-Production Forum at Thessaloniki IFF with projects in development, while she has finished 10 films in two years, with the most recent of Manolis Mavris, Midnight Skin, which premiered in 62nd Semaine de la Critique in Cannes 2023.

Romanna has worked for Drama International Short Film Festival (DISFF) and Aegean FF as a Communication and Strategy Manager reaching out new audiences and creating awareness around the festival. She is an alumna of Berlinale and Sarajevo Talents, Locarno Industry Days and New Producers Room – Cannes Court Métrage and a member of the Hellenic Film Academy and Hellenic Producer’s Association.
